IPD reached its peak in the award ceremony of 2025 Go Global Like a Local: Video and Photo Contest. The contest, now in its fourth year, encourages outbound students, international undergraduates, and exchange students to share their global adventures through the lens. This year, it attracted 256 submissions from 109 participants. Vice President ZHU presented top honours to WANG Peng (SHAW, SDS) for photography and DAI Jintao (LING, SME) for videography, earning thunderous applause for their creative visual storytelling.

During the campus tour, delegates visited Diligentia College and Minerva College, experiencing firsthand the distinctive “college system” model of the University.

That afternoon, the National Flag Corridor transformed into a bustling international bazaar, with consultation booths drawing nearly 2,000 enthusiastic students eager to connect with international representatives, who had travelled to Shenzhen from all around the world.

To further familiarise the representatives with Shenzhen and experience the charm of this “City of Technology”, the University also organised visits to Tencent Global Headquarters and the iconic Ping An Finance Centre.
