The 2023 Inverse Problem Regularization Method and its Application Seminar were held in Shenzhen MSU-BIT University from May 25 to 29 to promote the development of inverse problems and related fields and strengthen academic exchanges and cooperation among scholars.
The conference brought together famous professors and experts from Purdue University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Sun Yat-sen University, Central China Normal University, Chongqing University, Zhejiang Normal University, and other domestic and foreign scholars engaged in the inverse problem. The seminar has organized 19 outstanding academic presentations.
The conference's main objective is to explore the latest developments and research frontiers in inverse problems. Topics discussed include but are not limited to the mathematical theory of inverse problems and ill-posed problems, regularization methods; numerical solution methods of inverse problems including acoustic and electrodynamics, tomography, electrical prospecting, seismology, gravimetric survey, transport theory, atmospheric and marine physics, and inverse problems in environmental protection; high-performance computing in biology, medicine, economics, financial mathematics and sociology, natural sciences; Big data modeling and forecasting, intelligent computing.
