2023 London Tech Week Promotion Meeting was successfully held at Guangzhou International Cooperation Center (GICC) on April 11, 2023, attracting the attendance of over 60 representatives from local government departments, high-tech companies, as well as investors. The meeting, held both online and offline, was jointly organized by GICC and London & Partners.

Andrew Tibbitts, Director of Growth Services, London & Partners, gave a detailed introduction of London Tech Week online, saying that London Tech Week, as one of Europe’s largest and most influential technology events, will celebrate its 10th anniversary from 12 to 16 in June, 2023, centering around the theme “Shaping the future: uniting global tech to drive sustainable innovation”. More than 300 speakers and industry leaders from around the world are expected to be invited, and more than 200 conferences and 60 events are scheduled to be held. In addition to the main venue, this year’s London Tech Week also has added three themed zones, namely the Start-up zone, the Enterprise Zone and the Business Leaders Zone, with the aim of providing a good platform for entrepreneurs.

Mandy Guo, Director of GICC and Lesley Li, Vice President of London & Partners Shenzhen Office, respectively introduced the functions of the two platforms and expressed their strong desires to leverage their respective resources to promote in-depth exchanges and practical cooperation between Guangzhou and London and to facilitate the enterprises of Guangzhou in going global.
