On December 20, the 2022 Qingdao International Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week and the 22nd "Blue Fair" kicked off in the West Coast New District. With the theme of "Gathering talent and Strength, creating a better Future", the event adopted the mode of combining online and offline. In order to attract a large number of domestic and international leading talent research projects to settle in Qingdao, Qingdao has set up a strong talent momentum for accelerating the construction of a modern socialist international metropolis in the new era.

The conference focused on the needs of 24 key industrial chains such as intelligent home appliances, Marine equipment, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, intelligent manufacturing, software and information technology, and our city issued more than 2,700 overseas high-level talents and more than 90 project needs, and 153 employers issued "recruitment orders" through the "Blue Fair" platform, and took out full sincerity to recruit talents for the world. This event brought together more than 120 overseas high-level talents to participate in the project, through the "cloud display" and "cloud negotiation" with the city's key enterprises and institutions online negotiation.

After 22 years of careful cultivation, "Blue Fair" has become an important platform for talents at home and abroad to pay attention to and participate in Qingdao's economic and social development. Since 2001, through the "Blue Fair" issued a total of nearly 20,000 talent positions, attracted 12,000 overseas high-level talent registration, more than 3,100 successful youth innovation and entrepreneurship, the establishment of more than 550 high-tech enterprises, boosting a large number of outstanding domestic and foreign high-end talents and advanced technology projects in Qingdao. It has effectively enriched the supply of talents, technology and intelligence elements in Qingdao.
