On 4-5 May, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Forum 2023 was held in Huangpu District, Guangzhou. The forum uses AIE as a technical link, integrating innovative elements such as policy, technology, talent, and capital, aiming to "gather talents and introduce wisdom" and "transform results".

Under the guidance of Guangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, the Guangzhou Committee of Communist Youth League of China and the support of Huangpu District Committee of the United Front Work Department, Huangpu District Science and Technology Bureau, and Huangpu District Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Forum was hosted by the AIE lnstitute, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). Co-organized by South China University of Technology, Chinese National Engineering Research Center for Tissue Restoration and Reconstruction (Hong Kong Branch), Shenzhen University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, University of Macau, Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Aggregation-Induced Emission and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Promotion Association. About 400 representatives from the scientific research, industry and capital sectors gathered together to draw a blueprint for the development of the AIE industry. The forum also organized visits to the "Small and Medium-sized enterprises can do great things" pilot demonstration Hall, AIE Institute, through a variety of intelligent, digital display and interactive equipment, to show the innovation strength of Guangzhou City and Huangpu District, AIE technology application in life experience.

Tang Benzhong, Dean of the AIE Institute said that in the past three years, the AIE Institute has immersed itself in the transformation of scientific research results and achieved the successful landing of a number of products. Its industrialization layout has extended from the construction of a scientific and technological achievements transformation platform to the construction of "a basic database, an international first-class journal, a science base", and the next step is to improve the construction of "a multi-disciplinary integration of talent training platform". In the future, the layout and construction of an "AIE equity sub-fund" will guide and support the construction of a number of AIE technology transformation and AIE projects, realize the agglomeration of upstream and downstream enterprises supported by AIE technology research and development platform and transformation platform, and finally build a 5+1+N ecosystem of AIE technology achievements transformation. To make positive contributions to the economic and social development of Guangzhou and the construction of an international science and technology innovation center in the Greater Bay Area. The holding of this forum effectively promoted the gathering of young scholars and young entrepreneurs with AIE as the main line to innovate and start businesses in Guangzhou, and further promoted the transfer and transformation of AIE achievements.

At the forum, the Torch Center of Huangpu District Science and Technology Bureau introduced the policy support system of Guangzhou Huangpu District from the establishment of enterprises to the whole process of development and growth. The Huangpu District Committee of the Communist Youth League introduced the "Hong Kong and Macao Youth Innovation 10 2.0" from the aspects of cooperation and exchange, internship and employment, life security and services, innovation, entrepreneurship and excellence, financial support and business incubation. A group of renowned experts and young scholars from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in the fields of AIE basic research, technological innovation, achievement transformation and industrial application made reports and shared them.
