On 17 May, the First Wuhan Network Security Innovation Forum ended. At the main forum held on the afternoon that day, 10 outstanding achievements that stood out from 31 innovative works were officially released.

One of the biggest highlights of the forum was the data security and software security exchange held on 16 May. At the 3 exchange meetings, Huawei, ZTE, Qi’anxin, and AVL Mobile Security, as well as the Institute of Information Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xidian University and other domestic network security, big data industry leading enterprises and universities, scientific research institute innovation teams, came with 31 innovation achievements.

"The 31 innovative achievements cover various fields, such as privacy computing, government cloud, machine learning and industrial internet, representing the industry-leading level." Duan Haixin, host of the Software Security Innovation Achievements Exchange Meeting and Director of the Teaching Committee of the Institute for Network Sciences and Cyberspace of Tsinghua University, said that the participants fully collided ideas, not only for enterprises to optimize and improve the innovation results that have been thrown to the market, but also have positive significance for the innovation team to improve the quality and efficiency of research and development.

"Privacy Computing Theory and Technology" by Li Fenghua's Team of the Institute of Information Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences was awarded the Outstanding Innovation Achievement. Li Fenghua introduced that in 2015, Chinese scholars took the lead in the world and accurately defined the concept and academic connotation of privacy computing for the first time. After years of development, the theory and technology of privacy computing continue to mature, which can be used to solve the problems of frequent over-range collection of personal information by smart terminals such as mobile phones and tablets, as well as the unauthorized use of private data in background information service systems, big data killing, abuse of personal portrait results, and excessive retention of personal information, so as to better protect user data security.

In addition to releasing the innovation results, the main forum released four academic reports on the theme of building a strong network security barrier and strengthening data management, released the Report on China's Network Security Talent Construction (2022), the Personal Information Protection Index Report of Commonly used Apps in the Public, and signed the launch of the second phase of the Student Innovation Funding Program of the College of Network Security. The forum also unveiled Huanghe Network Security Laboratory and launched Huanghe Cup Network Security Talent Innovation Competition.

A responsible person in Wuhan introduced that in addition to the main forum, the forum carried out 4 innovation achievements exchange meetings, 6 symposiums, and set up 1 digital economy security seminar, 1 network security base inspection activity, and 1 network security night activity. A comprehensive display of China's network security personnel training, technological innovation, and industrial development frontier results, experts and scholars jointly discussed the basic, strategic and forward-looking issues of network security, and innovated to create a brand conference that has the role of leading the development of China's network security industry.
