Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) is a non-profit trade promotion agency under the South Korean government, established in 1962 to promote economic and trade exchanges between South Korea and overseas regions, serving as a bridge between the economies of various countries and South Korea. KOTRA has 127 trade offices in 84 countries (regions) worldwide, including 21 trade offices in China. Among them, there are 7 operation support centers for the Korea-China Free Trade Agreement (FTA) in Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Qingdao, Tianjin, and Dalian.

Since its establishment, the Shenzhen Korea Trade Office has been actively promoting economic and trade cooperation between South Korea and Shenzhen, promoting the growth of South Korean and Shenzhen companies into international enterprises.
