Bulgarian-Chinese Business Development Association was established in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, in 2015 as a non-profit organization. It is a member of the Bulgarian Industrial Association and is committed to promoting cooperation between Bulgarian and Chinese businesses in areas such as industry, commerce, agriculture, economics, engineering, technology, and education. The association also provides professional training and promotes educational and cultural exchanges between the two countries. In 2016, the association signed a friendly cooperation agreement with the Chaozhou Chamber of Commerce and in 2018, it opened an office in Yiwu, China
