The “Barcelona, digital city” plan also defines how technology and data can help us to solve urban challenges such as access to affordable housing, the energy transition and participatory urban planning for advancing towards a sustainable and ecological city. It was drawn up with the participation of the public, tech communities, creators, tech companies and researchers from the academic world, that is, with the main stakeholders in the new digital ecosystem.
